In Person Design Services

Consultation

Consultations are the quickest way to get advice from me, they usually take place on site and are around two hours. We can cover all sorts of different things, maybe your looking for advice on a particular challenge or would like me to look at your Architect plans and see if the layouts are the most functional and effective they can be. It could be colour advice or you want to make your home feel more cohesive, I can help with with any design issues that you have. You will need to fill out a Questionnaire and send me anything before hand so I can look through your dilemma and make sure we can the most out of time together.  

My In-Person Consultations are £395 + 45p per mile for travel over 10 miles from my studio in Kings Heath.

Design Only Service

This service is an in-person design service, where I will help clarify the vision for your home, by providing you with concept development, layout options and fixtures and fitting as well as furniture suggestions.

You will be responsible for managing the implementation of the designs, either through DIY or with help of various trades, I will be available for support throughout that process, via email.

  • Like every project it starts a conversation. I will visit the property to understand your brief, timescale and budget, to understand precisely what it is your are looking to achieve with your home.

    If you don’t already have floorplans available, I will take measurements on this visit.

  • A design concept is developed from your consultation and it helps steer the direction of the project. It is key to understanding how you want your home to feel so I can be informed decisions throughout the design process.

    This can include paint and wallpaper suggestions, fabrics and and flooring as well as other key items.

  • You will receive 2D floor plans of the whole space we are working on. I like provide 2/3 options for layout so you can really explore best use of your space.

    Once you have picked your favourite option (I could be an mix of all), you will receive elevations of each angle as well as a 3D CAD walk-through to help you understand the space and the suggestions I am making.

  • Continuing with your chosen layout I will provide you with the design details, it will be 6 items per room with links to sites for you to shop from.

    The 5 items does not include flooring and paint/wallpaper options, you will have these already!

  • You now have everything you need to implement the designs at your own pace and you will take over.

    You aren’t on your own, I will be on hand via email for questions you have as you are working through the project.

  • Dependant on what type of project you are working on, there might be other services that could benefit you:

    Lighting and Electrical Plans - these will be based of your specifications layout and interior plans, which can be handed to your builder and electrician

    Bespoke Joinery designs - built-in cabinetry is a fantastic touch for any home, I can design a bespoke project to suit your needs which you can either DIY or hand to your joiner.

    Are you obsessed with photo ready homes? Then Styling and Finishing Touches might be the one for you - once your project is finished I can return to the property, style and add finishing touches to make it extra special.

Full Service Interior Design

For our full design service, I will be involved in all aspects of your project from start to finish. This can include concept boards, colours and layouts, fixtures and finishes, as well as lighting and electrical plans, bespoke tailor-made joinery and furniture pieces and styling.

I will consult with your Architect, Project Manager and Builder, helping to clarify your vision for your space seeing it right the way through to completion and styling of the property.
