Your Layout Power Hour Review

A focused one-hour session dedicated entirely to reviewing your layouts. This is designed to cut through the overwhelm, stop panic decisions, and give you expert clarity before you commit to big (and often costly) choices.

It’s an overlay sketch review of what’s already been drawn, ideal for when you have architect or builder plans and want a second pair of expert eyes before locking things in. We’ll look at door swings, room flow, joinery placement, and layout logic to help you make the most of what’s already there.

This service works within your existing footprint, we don’t redesign or rework the structure, but refine and optimise what’s been proposed so you can move forward with confidence.

What’s included

• Before the session – You’ll submit your drawings and questionnaire, the more detail you provide, the better I can prepare.

• During the session – We’ll review your layout together on the call & highlight red flags.

• After the session – You’ll receive any mark-ups we and sketch solutions to help you visualise your next steps.

Important to Know

This service is a review of what’s already been drawn, not a starting-from-scratch design. We’ll work within the space you already have and won’t alter the overall scale of your build as outlined in your architect’s plans.

Your submitted floor plans must clearly show all rooms, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and key appliances (such as oven, hob, fridge, and sink). Because as an interior designer, I review a higher level of detail than an architect typically would, so if your plans don’t include any furniture or joinery layouts, then my Curated Spaces service would be perfect for you.

If your house is over 260 sqm, you’ll need two Layout Power Hour appointments to allow enough time to cover every space in detail. The goal of this session is to refine your already-designed floor plan, not to develop a completely new layout.
